TITLE: Cafeteria Aide/Custodian

POSITION: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Under the direct supervision of the Administrator or his/her designee, will work in the cafeteria during lunch. The cafeteria aide will bus tables, clean-up and serve lunch. Responsible for other service work duties: laundry, light housekeeping, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist food service worker by unloading vehicle.
2. Fill pitchers with ice and water.
3. Set tables with water pitchers.
4. Fill condiment containers, stock cups, napkins, plates, and utensils.
5. Set out lunch tubs and serve hot lunches.
6. Reset tables with plates, napkins, utensils, cups for 2nd lunch, if needed.
7. Wash off tables and chairs using detergent/sanitizer.
8. Wipe up spills, messes as needed.
9. Wash coffee pots, pans, and any other dishes.
10. Stack chairs.
11. Inventory supplies. Turn in to receptionist.
12. Collect all lunch totes and put on supply cart.
13. Clean staff bathrooms and individuals' bathrooms.
14. Empty trash cans and replace liners in office area, classrooms, kitchen and dining area.
15. Clean break room.
16. Sweep kitchen and dining area.
17. Vacuum offices, receptionist area, conference room and break room.
18. Clean out all refrigerators and all appliances in the kitchens and break room.
19. Mop floors in the absence of maintenance worker.
20. Other duties as assigned.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. In compliance with Milestone, Inc.'s Philosophy and policies regarding human

rights; intervenes on behalf of the individual(s) served and reports to the appropriate agency (OIG, DCFS, IDPH) and/or supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School diploma or G.E.D.
2. No weight restrictions
