Home Coordinator- Night

Under the supervision of the QIDP, monitors and directs the development, implementation, monitoring, and delivery of all individual services to ensure the active treatment is provided to the individuals of assigned homes. Functions as supervisor on duty for entire facility on a rotating basis.

POSITION: Full-time Nights (10:30PM-6:30PM) Sunday- Thursday.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Under the supervision of the Residential VP/Administrator, is responsible for the coordination of the night shift in overall care, training, treatment, and safe functioning of the individuals and facilities.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Reliable and prompt in attendance as scheduled, demonstrates flexibility as necessary to meet

individual, and/or home needs.

2.Monitoring and coordination of night shift services providers and providing appropriate

coverage and care at each home.

3.Direct supervision of night shift service providers in completing assigned duties, evaluations of

job performance in consultation with supervisors, providing corrective action and also

4.Monitoring delivery of night-time programming, and pulling and filing of documents in charts by

DSPs, providing assistance and/or training as necessary.

5.Functions as a night DSP on an as needed basis.

6. Monitors physical plant inspections, assists with ensuring maintenance requests are completed, and that assigned duties including but not limited to laundry and cleaning, are completed as assigned.

7. Responsible for assisting RSCs/HCs with orientation, training, and supervision of DSPs on the

night shift.

8. Functions as on-call supervisor on duty during working hours.

9.Responsible for the notification of AODs, Administrators, and/or maintenance in emergency

and/or unusual situations.

10.Assists as needed with ensuring transportation and/or coverage during AM laboratory draws.

11.Assists with monitoring staff attendance and punctuality, effectively promoting good time usage

and providing corrective action as necessary.

12.Assists with reviewing, monitoring and filing of data and documents on an on-going basis.

Includes ensuring maintenance of home filing cabinets are in a neat, orderly fashion as assigned

13.In compliance with Milestone's philosophy and procedures regarding Human Rights,

immediately intervenes on behalf of the individuals, and repots any concerns or questions to the

AOD.

14.Participates in and assists others with participating in Fire, Disaster, and Tornado Drills,

providing for safe evacuation, ensuring drills are completed as assigned.

15.Willingness and ability to travel from facility to facility, as necessary.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

1. Participation, in consultation with interdisciplinary team, in development and implementation of

individual treatment programs. Includes participation in development of appropriate programs

in consultation with RSD, RN, and/or RSC/HC.

facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum age of 21.

Must have a high school diploma or GED. Prefer course work in Human Services or related work in Human Services or related field.

Require experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Must be Certified Habilitation Aide.

Must be able to intervene physically in behavioral and health related crisis with individuals.

Must be able to promptly respond to any/all emergency situations.

Must be approved to drive Milestone vehicles.
