We are looking for a dedicated Recruiter who is passionate about finding people their next career!

Milestone serves individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the Rockford IL region. Our recruiter will be recruiting for all of our open positions, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding all new employees.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in related field

2. Minimum one year office experience

3. Computer skills

4. Good communication and organizational skills

5. Strong attention to detail

Job Description:


  1. Reliable, prompt attendance and punctuality. Acts as a role model in regard to time usage.

  1. Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring and /or facilitating this process at all Milestone locations.

  1. Conducts new employee orientation in the philosophy, policies, procedures and goals of Milestone, Inc. ensuring accuracy and completion of all necessary forms. Is responsible for timely submission of the required forms to necessary outside agencies and follow-up for receipt of all necessary responses.

  1. Responsible for the time and attendance system. Accurately enters all scheduled benefit days per employee schedule adjustment requests. Generate disciplinary action when necessary for attendance infractions.

  1. Assists in computation and completion of bi-weekly payroll.

  1. Advertises in appropriate avenues, according to need, for various job opening within budget constraints.

  1. Is available to all staff as a resource person with regard to policies, procedures and benefits.

  1. Ensures employee required documentation is submitted in accordance with regulatory agency requirements. This includes but is not limited to: diplomas, GED's, physicals, driver's licenses, 508 forms, cfs689 forms.
  1. Accurately completes all payroll changes encompassing transfers, wage changes, benefit changes, name changes, employment status changes.

  1. Is knowledgeable of and ability to respond to IDES notifications, workers' compensation issues and benefit enrollment.

  1. Generates employee work charts for all Milestone locations. Is aware of all open positions as they become available for all Milestone locations and maintains this information on the Milestone website and Requisition Report.

  1. Maintains the utmost confidentiality.

  1. In compliance with the Milestone philosophy and policies toward Human Rights,immediately intervenes on behalf of the individual(s) served and reports to the appropriate agency (OIG, DCFS, IDPH) and/or Supervisor.

  1. Responsible for community outreach and to maintain connections for hiring events purposes.

  1. Other duties as assigned.
